We’re very excited for the Gipsy Kings, plus tributes to Bob Seger and to Miss Aretha Franklin.

Irish heartbreaker Daniel O’Donnell has the Main Stage on the 2nd and later in the month – Kool and the Gang is back by popular demand! Everyone knows ‘Celebrate’ but trust us, you know at least another ten songs and there’s a high probability of dancing in the aisles. Free Educational Jazz Jams are on Sunday evenings for any players of any age who just want to grow and jam! Check out the hybrid fashion/showcase events on the 13th & 15th, because these are great examples of our commitment to platforming local and emerging Detroit artists. Alt-country standout Jennifer Westwood will rule the room on the 6th, our Resident Artist Gwen Foxx generally owns Wednesdays with a rotating lineup of guests, and on the 7th Alise King will honor Whitney Houston, Sade, Gladys Knight and others. Aretha’s Jazz Café dominates the first part of the month, with the one-and-only Billy Cobham bringing his Grammy-winning chops back to the space he calls ‘the best room’ on the 1st.
